Alaa founded Cedars in 2011 to bring true bespoke craftsmanship to Qatar's interiors market — built, not assembled. He leads the studio's direction across custom fit-outs, joinery, and furniture, with a working eye for material pairings, proportion, and the finer details that define a finished space: timber grain matched across a run of cabinetry, hardware specified to suit the room, finishes resolved before they reach site. He stays close to every residential and hospitality commission across Qatar and the wider GCC, and keeps design, fabrication, finishing, and installation under one roof — no subcontracting, no compromises.
